_{The “Second Reality” exhibition is a new-media artwork collection from the post-90s’young artists in China. This project shows how they understand the bond between their self-consciousness, society and new media. We collect the early works of young artists to reveal the “new state” of these young artists. Through these emerging forces, we look forward to the development of new media art in future.} More info

Humans recognize things through feelings and gain insights from the outside world. Perception is the way humans acquire the world.The source of all knowledge, in our process of intervening in visual art, perception is the tool which conduit for our constant embedding of visual art. When perception and inner heart cause a certain connection, the image in the heart emerges as the times require, showing the correspondence between phenomena and things. It not only indicates the direction and mark of the real society, but also evolve a new virtual perspective, forming a second reality (the materialization of the creator’s inner image). In this exhibition, ten young artists will show us how to look at the world, understand the connection between life and the natural world, and present the emotional and social situation of young people in contemporary Chinese cities in a visual form.
